The Frans Paradise Lac Bay

The Frans Paradise is the brain child of two brothers from Bonaire, Taty and Tonky Frans, who pushed all their limits to reach their dreams!

These two world-class windsurfers have made their mark for the past decade in worldwide competitions.  Now, they are focused on bringing their skills back home to Bonaire, the mecca of windsurfing!​

The Frans Paradise opened it’s doors at the end of 2018 at the point on Lac Bay, offering rentals for all levels of windsurfing gear and foils, as well as lessons for beginners and advanced sailors. 

Taty & Tonky have always been super helpful to Tycho, he bought his first windsurf set from them and since then Taty is always very supportive with the search for the right gear. 

Their enthusiasm is infectious and their skills are top-notch!  The whole team is always there to advise and support the local youth because they are the next generation. And how cool it is when these champs, the local heroes, are training with you on the water or help you rigging your sail!

Tycho once asked to Taty how to become as good as Taty, he spoke the legendary words "spend hours, hours and hours on the water".
